W.I.R. sind aber auch ein Kreis aus Freund*innen, die alle in Werdau, einer sächsischen Kleinstadt im Landkreis Zwickau, aufgewachsen sind. Wir alle haben noch Familie, Freund*innen und Bekannte dort und spüren dementsprechend eine emotionale Bindung zur Stadt und Region.“]Der Anlass unserer Idee waren die wieder zunehmenden rassistischen Hetze und Übergriffe auf Geflüchtete und Migrant*innen in Sachsen in der letzten Zeit. Ähnlich wie im Rest der Bundesrepublik, ist die polarisierende Stimmung auch in unserer Heimatstadt und Umgebung zu spüren.

– Rechte Parolen sind wieder in der Mitte der Gesellschaft angekommen. –

Rassismus existiert nicht erst seit kurzem als Problem in Werdau und vielen anderen Orten in Sachsen. Wir sind in diesem feindseligen Klima aufgewachsen. Leider war und ist es für uns teilweise ein alltäglicher Normalzustand. Aus diesen Gründen haben wir den Verein «W.I.R. – Werdauer Initiative gegen Rassismus» gegründet. Der Verein soll auch zukünftig als antirassistische Plattform dienen, die andere kritische Stimmen, Interessierte und Aktive in der Stadt zusammenbringt. Wir möchten, dass es für alle ein tolles und inspirierendes Erlebnis wird. Damit wir uns alle wohlfühlen können, wollen wir achtsam
und bewusst miteinander umgehen. Das heißt gleichzeitig sagen zu können, wenn etwas unangenehm ist, und sensibel fragen zu können, wenn etwas unklar ist.

Wir haben keine Lust auf: 

• ** Ableism bezeichnet die Beurteilung von Menschen anhand ihrer Fähigkeiten als behindertenfeindlich
• ungewollte Grabscher in oder an Hintern, Brüste, Haare – lasst eure Hände bei euch!

• ungefragte Fotos, respektiert bitte die Privatsphäre und Sicherheit anderer
• Das ganze Festival über wird ein Awareness*- Team (die mit den gelben Westen, und das Orga Team) an den verschiedenen Festi- val-Orten stets zur Verfügung stehen und für Infos, Fragen, Sorgen, Anregungen, Bedürfnisse, Kritik, oder auch einfach nur zum netten Quatschen da sein 🙂

* to be aware: sich bewusst sein, sich informieren, für bestimmte Problematiken sensibilisiert sein, awareness= Bewusstsein

Wir behalten uns vor, von unserem Hausrecht Gebrauch zu machen und Personen, die neonazistischen Parteien oder Organisationen angehören, der Neonazi-Szene zuzuordnen sind oder bereits in der Vergangenheit durch rassistische, nationalistische oder sonstige menschenverachtende Äußerungen in Erscheinung getreten sind, den Zutritt zur Veranstaltung zu verwehren oder von dieser auszuschließen.

Kinderbetreuung 

Wenn du Kinder hast, und gerne an den Workshops teilnehmen oder Filme schauen möchtest, kannst du unsere Kinderbetreuung Samstag und Sonntag von 10 bis 17.30Uhr bei der Alten Tuchfabrik aufsuchen.

Barrieren 

Aufgrund der räumlichen Gegebenheiten und des Geländes war
es uns nicht möglich, alle Orte des Festivals rollstuhlgerecht und barrierearm zu gestalten. Deshalb bitten wir euch, aufeinander zu achten und gegebenenfalls einander zu helfen, wenn Hilfe erwünscht ist. Gern könnt ihr uns auch vohrer kontaktieren, falls ihr besondere Bedürfnisse diesbezüglich habt und wir werden versuchen, es um- zusetzen. Es wird teilweise auch zu sprachlichen Barrieren kommen, weshalb wir uns auch um englische Übersetzungen und Beiträge, sowie um Angebote mit Verdolmetschung in Deutsche Gebärden- sprache bemüht haben. Achtet auch hier aufeinander, übersetzt euch das Gesagte und Geschriebene gegenseitig auf  andere Sprachen, achtet auf euer Sprachtempo etc.[/brando_content_block][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=“1/1″][vc_column_text]
